Marjie

She is still in the hospital. They haven't been able to stop the nausea and vomitng yet. They are going to try Scopalomine now. Medicare wants here out of there and if they send her home like this, she will just have to go back when she dehydrates again or has a major Seizure because she can't hold her medicines down.
I am stumped at what to do now. :(

  1. Get her personal doctor to intervene for you -- they have to be told that it would be medically irresponsible given her pre-existing conditions to send her home before the nausea and vomiting are under control.

  2. Her personal doctor is leaving this area and is no longer admitting and the new doctor hasn't seen her yet so wouldn't. The ER doc had to admit her. They sent her home just awhile ago and now she is throwing up again. They told her to have her doctor run a gall bladder test. I wonder why they didn't just do it there? Jeesh! Incompetence galore.

  3. Cannot understand your medical system "up there" especially when it comes to the point of sweet Marjie - for them to send her home just because they cannot help and knowing she will continue to vomit and dehydrate and ultimately end back there is as mspears says completely IRRESPONSIBLE - give her (Marjie) my love and I am sending some spare strength (The Aussie finally made it on)
